Kakimori x TSUKI no IRO: Mini Ink Bottle Set

Twelve inks blended to match the twelve printing colours the Hobonichi Techo uses through its own months, made with Kakimori and bottled small. They are sold in halves, January to June and July to December, six bottles to a set.

The size is the argument: 2.7 ml is enough to fill a Frost pen about three times, which makes trying twelve colours a reasonable proposition rather than a shelf of half-used bottles. The ink is a water-based pigment, water-resistant and slow to fade in light, so it suits a diary that has to survive being read in ten years. Shake before use and clean the pen regularly afterwards, as pigment inks ask.
