Frost is Kakimori's own pen, and the body is its argument: a translucent barrel with the texture of frosted glass, designed so the ink inside and the nib showing through are part of how it looks rather than something to hide. Fill it with a colour and the pen changes appearance.
The cap screws on and opens easily, and the grip section is made as long as it can be so your fingers land past the threads rather than on them. For this collaboration the body is a khaki grey made only for the Hobonichi Techo, with the TSUKI no IRO logo in silver. It takes a converter, so you fill it from a bottle rather than dropping in a cartridge. This is the rollerball, which writes like a ballpoint and is the easier of the two for everyday use.
