Hobonichi Weeks 2027 (Japanese): Paper Series - Black Argyle

The Weeks is Hobonichi's slim, pocketable planner: a weekly horizontal spread on the left, a full page of grid memo on the right, in a book narrow enough to live in a jacket pocket. The Paper series covers it in stock from Takeo, the Japanese paper house, and this one uses Tant Select. It is embossed rather than printed, finely enough that the argyle only resolves at certain angles and reads as plain black at others.

For all the texture it is smooth and matte to the hand, and at 131 g it is the lightest cover in the range. The year is foil-pressed in silver. It is the one to pick if you want something that passes unremarked in a meeting and still has a pattern in it.
