The Weeks is Hobonichi's slim, pocketable planner: a weekly horizontal spread on the left, a full page of grid memo on the right, in a book narrow enough to live in a jacket pocket. The Leather series builds it in cow hide instead of cloth, which makes this the softest cover in the range and the one that will change most with handling. Forest Green is dyed a deep, settled woodland green.
It is finished more elaborately than a standard Weeks: a decorative headband in beige and white sits at the head and tail of the spine, doing real reinforcing work as well as looking the part, and two satin ribbon bookmarks come in light brown and light beige. The year is foil-pressed in gold. Being natural hide, each copy carries its own wrinkles, veins and markings, and it ships in a protective paper envelope to keep the light off it.
