The Weeks is Hobonichi's slim, pocketable planner: a weekly horizontal spread on the left, a full page of grid memo on the right, in a book narrow enough to live in a jacket pocket. This edition carries a spring scene by picture book author Akiko Miyakoshi, painted in soft light with the shadows of new green leaves and soap bubbles drifting past a group of rabbits. The layered colours are quiet rather than bright, and the scene is deliberately open, so what the rabbits are saying to each other is left to you.
