Hobonichi Weeks 2027 (English): Moomin

The Weeks is Hobonichi's slim, pocketable planner: a weekly horizontal spread on the left, a full page of grid memo on the right, in a book narrow enough to live in a jacket pocket. Two covers drawn from Tove Jansson's Moomin books, which she wrote and illustrated between 1945 and 1977.

At the Table takes its scene from Moominsummer Madness, the moment Emma the stage rat appears in front of the family and their friends around the dinner table, with Little My on the back cover settled inside a sewing basket; it is drawn in greige line on pale pink with a soft purple spine, and the year is foiled in silver in a typeface built from the curve of Moomin's tail. A Day in the Life of Snufkin gives the cover over to Snufkin doing as he likes, fishing and playing music, on a deep green ground, with bronze lame thread worked into his hat ornaments and the year in gold.
