A tri-fold cover from Natal Design, the Tokyo apparel and camping-gear brand, and it is built like their gear rather than like stationery: 1000D nylon, stain-resistant and hard-wearing, with deep-coloured piping running the edges to hold the shape around the book.
A name tag sits on the front and the snaps are matte rather than bright. Inside is a burgundy PU panel with the brand's logo foil-pressed at the centre and its statement of intent beside it, over a printed ground of the Lucky Swallow motif, swallows being birds of good fortune, which runs on unbroken underneath the pocket. The A6 uses the brand's own camouflage; the A5 uses Retro Stripe, a vintage-toned stripe that is one of its signatures.
