Hobonichi Techo Cover: Liberty Fabrics - Sasha Kiora

A butterfly-stopper cover in printed Liberty fabric. Sasha Kiora is a small floral: pink and light blue anemones adrift as though in a breeze, with buds and leaves showing between them, drawn in the spirit of Kate Greenaway's pastoral illustrations from the back half of the 19th century. The overall effect is a meadow on a windy day rather than a bouquet.

The cloth is Tana Lawn, the fine cotton Liberty developed in the 1920s and still prints on: unusually smooth for its weight, and the reason these covers feel the way they do. The lining is a soft pale pink.
