Hobonichi Techo Cover: Letter

A cover built like an envelope: a triangular flap folds over and a length of cord winds round a button to hold it shut. Two materials meet on it, a smoky grey polyurethane and a Spanish acrylic cloth, so the surface changes texture under the hand as you move across it. The button and the cord ends are genuine leather, and the deep khaki cord is long enough to wind plainly or cross over itself. The cord is fixed to the cover, so there is nothing to lose. A clip-style pen hook is the only other fitting, which keeps the closed silhouette flat.
