Hobonichi Techo Cover: Akiko Miyakoshi - An Airport at Night

Warm yellow lights against a black ground: an airport at night, painted by picture book artist Akiko Miyakoshi from something she saw stepping off a plane at the end of her own trip, watching a passenger whose journey was only starting.

The picture runs across the back and carries on into the inner right pocket, so it is one continuous image wrapped around the book. It is printed on a finely textured polyester chosen to hold the colour of the original, the bookmarks are bright yellow ribbon, and the series concept is printed inside the left pocket.
