A pencil board slides under the page you are writing on. It gives thin paper something firm to sit against, so the pen stops skating, and it stops the pressure of your writing embossing itself into the sheet underneath. This one is made for the HON, in sizes cut to the A6 and A5 books.
It is clear PVC printed all over with a 5 mm grid in a muted navy, so the grid shows through onto the page you are writing on without competing with it. The long edge carries a 1 mm scale and the short edges carry scales too. Because the HON is designed to be used bare, with no cover to hold anything, this board includes a pen hook so a pen travels with it.
