A Cover on Cover is a clear sleeve that goes over a Hobonichi Techo cover, not over the book. It does two jobs at once: it takes the year's worth of scuffing that the cover underneath would otherwise take, and it puts a design onto a plain one, so a single Colors cover can be re-dressed rather than replaced. This one is for A5 Cousin covers.
Beautiful Season is by iyo okumi, an embroidery artist and illustrator, and it is her stitched piece of that name reproduced in white ink: snow settling on trees, a heavy sweater, and winged figures dancing near a fire. Printed white on clear, the stitches read like frost, and how much of it you see depends entirely on the colour underneath.
Features
Fits an A5 Cousin techo cover, not the book itself
An embroidered original by iyo okumi, printed in white ink
Protects the cover underneath and changes the look of a plain one
Because the artwork runs the full width, this one has no slit cut in the back, so the cover's rear pocket is not reachable while it is on.
Sized for the Colors series and the printed covers with butterfly stoppers. Leather, faux leather and thick fabric covers do not fit it and may be marked by it.
238 x 347 x 0.6 mm (9.4 x 13.7 in) and about 40 g, in PVC
