Hobonichi 5-Year Techo Cover: Moomin - Written Memories

A leather cover for the 5-Year Techo built to look like a book, which suits what the book is: five years of one person's record. The navy hide is stamped in a foil only slightly darker than itself, so the artwork reads as tone against tone rather than as decoration.

The front shows Moominpappa rewriting the script for the play in Moominsummer Madness, with a line of Finnish beneath it about a five-year tale unlike any other. The back carries Emma the theatre mouse's own diagram of the theatre, in the same dark navy, and the spine repeats the Finnish line where a book's title would sit.

Inside there is a printed map of Fir Tree Bay, and the right pocket is stamped with a Finnish phrase for a happy ending. A bright red bookmark is the only loud thing on it, and the pen hook holds a pen by its clip. Made in A5 and A6.
